  • Oops, hit the wrong button. Sorry, @GeorgeGibb... To the editor: help streamline the process of organizing a possible sidebar widget that enumerates strategic links, I propose here a quick and dirty starting point to organize the links that every follower here is encouraged to contribute to:
    Radiation readings:
    Mainstream news sources:
    Tepco pages:
    Japan Govt/Tech sources:
    Int'l industry oversight/regulatory:

  • they never published my comments either
    by Bobby1 3/26/2011 2:18:34 AM

  • well I can see why at one point 15k users - its would be a moderating nightmare
by George Gibb 3/26/2011 2:19:16 AM

  • Guys, remember it is important to self moderate, keep discussions on topic and short so George doesn't have to read through so much.
    by ids 3/26/2011 2:20:12 AM

  • We should try...I think they wore Stephie out doing both blogs.

  • @Albert Lee in Manila I'll call on you forsure once I get this interface setup
by George Gibb 3/26/2011 2:24:31 AM

  • Just so you know (you probably do), the Reuters blog is back up.
    by dealing 3/26/2011 2:24:42 AM

  • Reuters is back online... it is probably useful to keep the discussion in one place, and we can switch back to this location when they freeze the blog again.
    by Diane 3/26/2011 2:24:47 AM

  • @Diane sounds good and it will give me time to sort this out abit
by George Gibb 3/26/2011 2:25:26 AM

  • Reuters always posts my my post if...Facts, not opinions, links to sources, not too much speculation. I think they done a great job.
by Ralph Unger 3/26/2011 2:25:48 AM

  • @Diane Ditto. think they may end up just keeping theirs open during the day. Don't close this, PLEASE?
    by dealing 3/26/2011 2:25:49 AM

  • @Ralph Unger you're set to auto post here also
by George Gibb 3/26/2011 2:26:30 AM

  • TY, but moderation is a good thing :-)
by Ralph Unger 3/26/2011 2:27:24 AM

by George Gibb 3/26/2011 2:28:04 AM

    by Canadian 3/26/2011 2:28:16 AM

  • They did kind of manipulate in input.
by Jim Carver 3/26/2011 2:28:33 AM

    by Ann 3/26/2011 2:30:28 AM

  • @George Gibb agree, and we likely double/triple/quadruple post the same or similar info
    by Canadian 3/26/2011 2:30:30 AM

  • Where is everybody from? Just curious... I grew up in Russia, and Chernobyl happened when I was a toddler, a lot of anxiety in the family about it. This is why, I think, I just cannot stop following this now.
    by Diane 3/26/2011 2:30:32 AM

  • If a tweet to my GF is accidentally sent here, moderation would be a good thing. :-)
by Ralph Unger 3/26/2011 2:30:35 AM

  • Texas and Colorado.
by Jim Carver 3/26/2011 2:31:40 AM

  • @All please inform me if you think a line of discussion gets out of hand
by George Gibb 3/26/2011 2:31:57 AM

  • i also think Reuters did a great job - i run discussion forums since the time they were calles Bulletin Board Systems an you had to dial in with your phone - moderating a community focused on such a controversial topic is hell of a job.. some of my comments also didnt get through and i had no idea why, but thats the way it is sometimes..
