A TEPCO worker in Ibaraki committed suicide by jumping off the roof of TEPCO’s branch office. The worker didn’t leave a note so officials were unsure why he took his own life at work.

Spent fuel removal at unit 4 begins next week. There is conflicting information about the fuel being removed by computer control or manual crane operation by workers.

TEPCO began dumping contaminated rain water into holding ponds previously used until they began leaking contaminated water.
