Fukushima Daiichi Unit 1 Containment Inspection Starts April 10th

According to a recently released handout from TEPCO and IRID the robot inspection of unit 1’s containment should commence around April 10th with the second inspection on April 13.

Scope inspections to install monitoring instruments into containment will happen roughly around the same time frame.

Each numbered spot on the route is a location they plan to stop, take photos, temperature and radiation readings. Future work will be based on how this initial set of inspections goes.
