NHK is reporting that the first reactor restart in Japan is now planned for Tuesday. Control rod tests are planned for Monday. This is a one day delay from the previous schedule.
Sendai’s reactors have been down since 2011. Any long term outage can create problems with operation due to corrosion and other degrading factors.
