Japan To Meet Summer Peak Power Demand With Solar

Japan is now following the path of Germany where solar power may meet the peak power demand during summer. Japan has increased their solar power capacity seven fold since 2011. Japan has not had any blackouts over the summers following the Fukushima disaster. During this period the country also had no operating nuclear reactors until recently as NRA has given limited restart permission.
