Monday (JST) TEPCO will shut down the no. 6 reactor at Kashiwazaki Kariwa nuclear plant. This will shut all of TEPCO’s nuclear reactors. There will be no nuclear reactors running on Japan’s main island of Honshu. The one remaining reactor is unit 3 at Tomari in Hokkaido, operated by Hokkaido Electric.

UPDATE: word from Japan is that they have already shut it down as of Sunday night Japan time.

Meanwhile the World Nuclear Association is trying to scare people with doom and gloom about Japan’s nuclear shutdown.

We previously covered how Japan may not need nuclear power at all. The government has already cited they will not need to enact conservation measures or 15% mandatory reductions in consumption on large power consumers. It was also discovered that power companies were manipulating the numbers to make power demand look larger than it really was.
